Our Story
Built by Athletes,
Engineered by Scientists
AXON started with a frustration. Erik Johansson, a competitive weightlifter and robotics engineer, was tired of choosing between a proper gym and living in a city apartment. The equipment that fit at home was a compromise. The equipment that wasn't — didn't fit.
In 2021, he partnered with Dr. Priya Sharma, a biomechanics researcher at ETH Zürich, to build something different: a wall-mounted device that could replicate an entire gym using digitally controlled electromagnetic resistance. No weights. No cables. No compromise.
Three years, 12 patents, and 50,000 users later, AXON is redefining what a home gym can be. Our technology is used by individual fitness enthusiasts, professional athletes, physiotherapists, and commercial studios across 28 countries.
